Orton, England church on the Coast to Coast hike.

There is a little bit of a problem in hiking coast to coast across England twice within 7 weeks and I am just over half way through the second trip, having reached Richmond this afternoon. It is so easy to become attached to the lovely countryside, the friendly people, the good food and charming villages. It is enticing to set down roots and just stay here! We are hiking from the Irish Sea to the North Sea across England, 192 challenging miles. I gave two tours and these photos are from the first tour, June 13 to July 8. Through the moors, the Heather is beginning to bloom.
