July 14 in Stockholm. We took the afternoon train to Vaxjo, Sweden. Stayed 3 nights to visit the Immigrant Museum and Glass Museum. Fascinating little town, too, with a lovely old town and lots of parks.
In all my travels I have seen my fair share of churches, and the cathedral in Vaxjo is a favorite, a mix of medieval and modern with lots of Swedish glass art.
We attended the Sunday service at the cathedral. The huge organ opened the service and was played sometimes with one of the smaller organs. During the service they played three different organs, a grand piano, a a violin and sang. It was heavenly. Being all in Swedish, made it musical, too.
Stopped n Lessebo to see the hand paper mill.
